Who on earth are Natural Instincts?!

Hi, I'm Kimberley, owner of Natural Instincts skincare.

I had my first baby 6 years ago and remember very clearly marvelling over what I had just made (okay my partner had an input too but it was minimal!) and taking in every fingernail, every hair and every inch of skin just drinking it in wonder.

I also remember being quite confused by what I should/should not put on my newborn baby's skin. There was a lot of talk about additives and hormone disruptors etc in lots of skincare products but the products marketed towards babies still seemed to have a lot of added extras. (I later found out that one of the reasons why is because the mass produced products spend a lot of time in warehouses and on shelves and so have to have preservatives added) Fast forward a few months and I completed some cosmetics training in my other job and learned how to make a balm. This balm has just 4 natural ingredients all designed to be soothing to newborn skin but still allowing air to circulate:

• apricot kernel oil

• organic shea butter

• organic calendula

• organic beeswax
